I hope you have all had a wonderful half term and are ready to embark on your final term in Year 6. We have lots of hard work and lots of fun to look forward to
Now that the sun is out, remember to think about staying safe by bringing your water bottle, cap and wearing sunscreen.

PE- Wednesday and Friday
Both sessions will be outside so make sure that you have an outdoor kit that is appropriate for the weather.
(exception week 3: PE Tuesday 22nd and Friday 25th because of class photos are on Wednesday)
Remember your helmet if you have signed up to Bikeability.
Swimming- 14th- 18th June
Check the letter sent to your parents for the full details on what to bring.
Oscars- Tuesday 20th July
Author of the Year
In year 6 this year, our author of the year is Malorie Blackman. She has written over 50 popular books and in 2008 was given an OBE for her contributions to literature. Over the years, Malorie has received many other awards for her work including the Children’s Laureate. Some of her popular books for children include: Pig Heart Boy, Hacker and Operation Gadgetman. She has also written many thought-provoking books for young adults.
You should be reading for 20 minutes a day at least 5 days a week. This can be alone or with an adult.
