Prayer
God Bless Queen Elizabeth
Prayer is central to daily life in school, opportunities are provided for prayer in all worship services and we have an interactive prayer station in the hall. The display has a prayer dedication section, which is included in the school newsletter as well to inform parents and also a prayer basket for the school community to put prayers in. In addition prayers are said before lunch, at the end of day, at the start of governors’ meetings and Parents’ Forum.
In Term 1, we have been learning what the Lord's Prayer means to us.
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever.
Amen
Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever.
Amen
