School Meals and Milk

Whilst this page is designed to provide you with information relating to school dinners and our milk service, we would also like to highlight a few catering requirements:

  • St Mary’s is a NUT FREE school.
  • At break time, we ask that students have a healthy snack.
  • For those choosing a packed lunch, we ask that this is well balanced and healthy.
  • Water bottles should contain water for hydration. A small carton of pure juice is acceptable with a packed lunch however, no sugar based or fizzy drinks are permitted.
  • Water is the only drink permitted within classrooms.

School Dinners

School dinners cost £2.60 and you can pay for them daily, weekly, half termly or termly.

Lunches must be ordered by 8am daily. If your child is absent for any reason, please remove any bookings you have made that they no longer require, otherwise you may still be charged.

Packed Lunches

For children choosing to bring a packed lunch, we ask that it contains a healthy and well-balanced meal, providing your young person with the appropriate nutrients to sustain an afternoon of learning.  Some healthy lunch box tips can be viewed by using the link below:

As we are a nut free school, no nuts are permitted. This is to ensure the safety of all members within our school community.

Please ensure that all lunch boxes are clearly labeled with your child's name and year group.
