Uniform Information

Please remove earrings at home in the morning before school and ensure that long hair is tied back (or a hair tie is sent in).  There has been a large increase in the number of children covering their ears with tape and this should only be done in the first 6 weeks after being pierced.  Following this children should be removing earrings for PE.

Our Autumn Term Adventures

Year Four Love Reading!

Year 4 have already started making their

classroom their own! Together they have created a beautiful display filled with all of their favourite books. It was lovely to see how creative they got designing their own book spines.

There is such a variety of genres and stories, why not pop in for a recommendation?

Week 1 adventures!

We have been inspired by Sulwe in our writing this week. Year 4 showed excellent focus writing up their character descriptions based on the two sisters, the sun and the moon.

Rev'd Joy Blessed our Backpacks...

Revd. Joy came into school to lead worship and bless our backpacks. The blessing of backpacks represents a blessing on all we need to learn, grow our minds, develop our own values, foster positive attitudes and deepen knowledge.

Year 4 are Roman adventurers

Year 4 had a fantastic time visiting the Roman Baths as part of their Discovery topic on Romans. We were able to explore the historic baths, try on togas, build mosaics and explore in the discovery centre.

Our Spring Term Adventures

Future Engineers!

Year 4 put their engineering and innovation skills to the test when they made slingshot cars in their latest DT unit. They had to design, construct and test their cars to see how far they could travel.

They were incredibly resilient as they made changes to their designs as they faced challenges and they turned out brilliantly!

Easter bonnets

What a creative show of Easter bonnets from Year 4. They came in all shapes and sizes and really showed off the children's creativity. Thank you for all of your support in helping them come to life!

Our Summer Term Adventures

We are the secret gardener!

Year 4 came in to their classroom to find a letter from a mysterious stranger who called themselves the secret gardener. He had invited us to join him on his mission to bring nature back to urban spaces and asked us if we could help him by planting some seeds. Year 4 eagerly accepted and the secret gardener delivered our supplies!

We have been inspired by the secret gardener in Varmints, our writing stimulus, and we hope that by planting these seeds we are continuing his great mission! We can't wait to se what beautiful flowers flourish under our care. Hopefully you will see them around the school soon!
