Helpful Home Learning 

Why do we set home learning tasks?

Home learning is provided each week to support or consolidate learning in class. It allows all children to use and apply their new skills within a different context. Furthermore, talking about an activity/learning task with someone new helps children to understand the work on a new and deeper level.

Home Learning Expectations:

 Homework is to be completed weekly:

Read x 5 a week.

Spelling games on Ed Shed to consolidate class learning.  Complete spelling worksheet (paper copy) and keep at home to aid spelling.

Handwriting - practising joins (paper copy will be sent home).

Times Table Rock Stars.

Numbots (access on play.numbots.com using your TTRS log in details)

Occasional additional tasks relevant to other curriculum areas may be sent home.
