Question 3
How is collective worship enabling pupils and adults to flourish spiritually?
iSingPOP Concert 2024
The children worked in partnership with iSingPOP (a UK based charity 'Innervation Trust' primary school singing, performing and resourcing project) who encourage children to grow spiritually through contemporary pop songs, while also exploring the relevance of faith and community values. Over the course of a week and a half, we unpicked our values, prepared a concert of celebration, recorded our very own album and put on a concert to be remembered. You will be able to purchase and download this very soon!
St Mary’s Church was alive with the sound of music, energy, love and community spirit. The joy was infectious and our community was united in song, celebration and dance – the church was full to the brim.
We felt a true community and it was so uplifting to be part of it. The children absolutely loved it. Even the quieter children were singing, dancing and playing the air guitar with huge confidence!
Here is some of the feedback. It means a lot to us that you can give us feedback. We all work so hard for these events and seeing the impact makes it all worthwhile. So thank you.

The Director of Education, Deputy Director of Education and the Principal Advisor for School Christian Character from Gloucestershire Diocese have identified our school as a participant for the Fisherman tail's theatre group. It is a workshop and performance for children in Key Stage 2.
Fisherman's tail includes a host of hearty songs and interactive storytelling. It is an enriching and exciting production; a show that cannot be missed! It is an hour-long musical production exploring the life and miracles of Jesus from the Fishermen disciples' perspective. It's a high energy musical, with plenty of audience interaction.
